Artwork

NOVA presents the horse as both subject and sculptural presence. Beginning with photography, the image is transformed through material, scale and hand-applied artistic intervention, moving beyond the photographic surface into a singular physical object. At 8.2 × 8.2 feet, its monumental scale brings the viewer into direct relationship with the work, while the restrained composition preserves the strength, elegance and quiet presence of the horse.
